Healing Our Kindred Spirits
A Sacred Pause: Strawberry Moon Meditation for Reflection and Inner Peace
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
The fastest way to feel more clear is not to push harder, it is to pause on purpose. We invite you into a companion-guided Strawberry Moon meditation designed for reflection, nervous system calming, and real inner peace, especially when life feels loud or Mercury Retrograde energy stirs up old thoughts and unfinished feelings.
We start by arriving in the body with slow breathwork and a full, gentle softening from the crown of the head down through the shoulders, chest, belly, and legs. You are reminded you do not have to force answers or hold everything together. From that grounded place, we move into a moonlit field where the Strawberry Moon becomes a steady, quiet presence and the strawberries symbolize sweetness, harvest, and the gifts that come after seasons of growth.
Then we practice letting go with care. You’ll be guided to ask what you are ready to stop carrying and to release it through a simple visualization: a written truth placed into a bowl of moonlight that dissolves without drama. We also meet Mercury Retrograde in a new way, through a mirror that reflects understanding instead of judgment, helping us review the past without living there and speak to ourselves with more tenderness, kindness, and grace.
We close by stepping into an inner “home,” a felt sense of safety inside your own body where you do not have to earn rest by being perfect or productive. If you want a calming guided meditation for stress relief, emotional release, self compassion, and reflection, press play, breathe with us, and take your sacred pause. If it supports you, subscribe, share the episode with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find a softer way back to themselves.
We value your feedback. Send us a text.

Welcome And Safety Note
SPEAKER_00Welcome, beautiful soul. This original companion-guided meditation is from Donna Godet in Healing a Kindred Spirits podcast. It is called A Sacred Pause, Strawberry Moon Meditation for Reflection and Inner Peace. This meditation is here to help you soften into the energy of the full Strawberry Moon and move gently through the reflective doorway of Mercury Retrograde. You don't have to force anything here. You don't have to figure everything out. The next few minutes, all you need to do is arrive. So go ahead and find a comfortable position. You can be lying down, seated, or resting in any way that feels supported. Let your body be held by the surface. Let your hands rest wherever they naturally want to land. And if it feels safe for you, gently close your eyes. If not, you can simply soften your gaze. Please do not listen to this guided meditation while driving or doing anything that requires your immediate attention. Take a slow breath in through your nose and let it out through your mouth. Again, inhale gently and exhale like you are sending something heavy down. One more time, breathing in and breathing out. Let
Breath And Full Body Softening
SPEAKER_00this be your first release. Begin by bringing your awareness to the crown of your head. Imagine a soft silver light resting there, almost like moonlight touching the surface of still water. Let your scalp soften, let your forehead smooth, and let the tiny muscles around your eyes relax. Unclench your jaw, let your tongue rest, let your face become more peaceful. Not because you have to pretend everything is perfect, but because in this moment you are allowed to stop holding it all together. Now bring your attention down into your neck and shoulders. Take a breath in, and as you exhale, let your shoulders drop away from your ears. Imagine anything you have been carrying for too long. Imagine it sliding gently off your shoulders and dissolving into the earth beneath you. Let that softness move down your arms, your upper arms, your elbows, your forearms, your wrists, your palms, your fingers. Let it loosen as if your hands no longer need to grip the outcome, the timeline, or the answer, or the old story. Bring your awareness to your chest and notice this gentle rise and fall of your breath. You don't have to change it, just notice it. With each inhale, imagine your heart making a little more room. With each exhale, imagine your heart releasing what it no longer needs to protect so tightly. Now soften your belly and let it be natural. Let it be human, let it rise and fall without any judgment. This is a safe place to just breathe. Let the relaxation flow into your hips, your pelvis, and your lower back. If you've been holding tension there, just notice it with kindness. No forcing, no pushing. Imagine warm moonlight pouring into those spaces, loosening what has become tight, softening what has become guarded. Let that warmth move down through your thighs, your knees, your calves, your ankles, and into your feet. Feel your body becoming heavier and more supported. Feel yourself arriving more fully in this moment. Now imagine your whole body surrounded by a gentle field of light. Not bright or overwhelming, just soft, silver, cool, and loving. Like the full moon itself has wrapped you in a quiet blanket and whispered, you can rest now.
Strawberry Moon Field Visualization
SPEAKER_00In your mind's eye, begin to imagine that you are standing at the edge of a quiet summer field. The air is warm but gentle. The sky above you is deep indigo, the kind of blue that comes just after sunset. A full moon rises slowly above the horizon. The strawberry moon. Large, luminous, glowing with a soft pearl-white light. Around you, the field is alive with quiet beauty. Tall grasses move in the breeze. Tiny wildflowers lean toward the moonlight. Somewhere nearby, strawberries grow close to the earth. Red and ripe. Small symbols of sweetness harvest and the gifts that come after seasons of growth. Take a breath here. Let yourself feel the stillness of this place. There is nowhere else you need to be. Nothing you need to perform. Nothing you need to prove. Just you, the earth beneath you, the moon above you, in this moment of becoming quiet enough to hear yourself again. As you begin walking slowly through the field, you notice a path appearing before you. Each step reminds you that healing does not always happen all at once. Sometimes healing is one honest breath, one small release, one moment of choosing not to abandon yourself. As you walk, the moonlight begins to reveal
Naming What You Are Ready To Release
SPEAKER_00things gently along the path. Not to frighten you, not to overwhelm you, just to show you what is ready to be seen. Maybe you notice an old belief resting like a stone at your feet. Maybe you notice a memory, a fear, a responsibility, or a pattern you have carried for so long that you forgot how heavy it was. Pause here. You do not need to name everything perfectly. You do not need to understand the whole story. Simply ask yourself softly, what am I ready to stop carrying? Let an answer come as a word, an image of feeling, or a knowing. And if nothing comes, that's okay too. The moon understands the silence. Now imagine in your hands you are holding a small piece of paper. On this paper is written the thing you are ready to release. Maybe it's control, maybe it's guilt, maybe it's the belief that you have to be everything for everyone. Maybe it is the old story that your needs are too much. Hold this paper with compassion. This thing may have once protected you, it may have helped you survive, it may have been the best you knew at the time. So we are not releasing it with anger, we are releasing it with gratitude. Gratitude for what it tried to do, and with trust that you no longer need to carry it in the same way that you have. In front of you, a small bowl of moonlight appears. It glows softly, almost like liquid silver. When you are ready, place the paper into the bowl. Watch as the moonlight begins to dissolve the words. Not violently, not suddenly, just gently, like mist lifting from a meadow at sunrise. As the words fade, say quietly to yourself, I release what is complete. I release what is heavy. I release what no longer belongs to the person that I am becoming. Take a slow deep breath in, and as you exhale, imagine your body becoming just a little lighter. Not empty, not erased, just lighter, more spacious, more available to yourself.
Mirror Reflection And Mercury Review
SPEAKER_00As you continue along the moonlit path, you notice something ahead. It's not a wall, it's not a closed door. It's a mirror standing beneath the full moon. The frame is silver and weathered like something ancient and kind. And this mirror does not show you what is wrong with you. It shows you what is ready to be understood more gently. This is the gift of Mercury Retrograde. It invites us to look again, to listen again, to review the conversations we have with others, and maybe even more importantly, the conversations we have with ourselves. Step toward the mirror slowly. You do not need to be afraid of what you will see. The moon is with you, the earth is beneath you, your breath is steady, and when you look into this mirror, you see yourself not as a problem to fix, but as a person to come home to. Maybe the mirror shows you an old version of yourself, a younger you, a tired you, a version of you who did the best they could with what they knew at the time. If that image comes, let it come softly. You don't need to relive anything. You are simply witnessing with compassion. You might silently say to this version of you, I see you. I understand why you protected yourself. I am not angry with you, I am here now. Let those words move through your body like warm water. I am here now. Mercury retrograde may bring old thoughts, old memories, old conversations, or unfinished feelings to the surface. But in this place, you do not have to chase them. You do not have to solve them immediately. You can let them pass through your awareness like clouds moving across the moon. Ask yourself gently, what needs to be reviewed with more tenderness? And then ask, what would change if I spoke to myself with more patience, with more kindness, with more grace? Now the mirror begins to shimmer and the path continues forward.
Finding Your Inner Home
SPEAKER_00You walk beneath the strawberry moon until you see a small house in the distance. It is glowing from within. It feels familiar, even if you have never seen it before. This house represents your inner sense of home, not a physical place, not something anyone can give you or take from you. This is the home inside your own body, the place where your truth can sit down and rest. As you approach, the door opens easily. Inside, the room is warm and peaceful. You are safe. There may be candles glowing on a table, soft blankets folded nearby, a window where moonlight pours across the floor. Maybe there is the scent of summer, fresh berries, rain on warm earth, or something that reminds you of Cobra. Find a place to sit inside this house. Let yourself be held here. Let this room remind you that you do not have to earn safety by being perfect. You do not have to earn rest by finishing everything. You do not have to earn love by being easy, quiet, productive, or endlessly available. In this room, you are allowed to be honest. You are allowed to be in process. You are allowed to need time. Imagine placing one hand over your heart and one hand over your belly. Feel the rhythm of your breath beneath your palms and let the body receive this message. I am safe to pause. I am safe to reflect. I am safe to release what is ready to go.
Receiving Sweetness And Saying Affirmations
SPEAKER_00Now on the table in front of you, you notice a small bowl of ripe strawberries or imagine another red fruit. They are deep red, bright, and full of life. They remind you that growth is not only about effort, growth is also about receiving, enjoying, letting something be sweet without waiting for it to disappear. Take a moment to notice what sweetness is already present in your life. Maybe it's a relationship, a small routine, maybe a moment of quiet, perhaps a creative spark, a sign that you are healing, a way you have become kinder to yourself. Let it be enough to name one thing. And ask yourself, what sweetness am I ready to receive more fully? Let the answer be simple, let it come without pressure. Maybe you are ready to receive more peace, maybe more creative inspiration, more honest connection, more rest, or more trust in your own timing. And if receiving feels unfamiliar, that's okay. You can begin with a breath. Inhale, I am open. Exhale, I do not have divorce. Now imagine the moonlight outside growing a little brighter, filling the house with light, filling the room, filling the space around you. Does not rush you, does not demand anything from you. It simply reminds you that you are part of cycles. You are allowed to have phases. You are allowed to wax and wane. You are allowed to be both becoming and becoming undone. If it feels good, repeat silently or out loud after me. I release what is complete. I trust what is being revealed. I give myself permission to slow down. I can review the past without living there. I speak to myself with patience, tenderness, kindness, and grace. I am safe to receive sweetness, clarity, and support. I am allowed to grow at my own pace. I am coming home to myself. I begin to imagine the house gently fading. The feeling of safety remains. The bowl of moonlight, the mirror, the fruit, the field, the full moon. All of it becomes a soft glow inside your heart. You do not have to leave the wisdom behind. You can carry it with you into your day, your conversations, your choices, into the quiet moments when you need to remember who you are.
Returning To The Room And Closing
SPEAKER_00Begin bringing your awareness back to your body. Feel the surface beneath you. Notice the weight of your body being supported. Notice the ear touching your skin. Notice the sound of your breath. Take a slow breath in and let it out. Begin to gently wiggle your fingers and toes. Maybe roll your shoulders, maybe move your head slowly from side to side. Come back in your own time. And when you are ready, you can open your eyes. Thank you for taking this time for yourself today. And as you move through the full strawberry moon and Mercury retrograde, may you remember that reflection is not the same as being stuck. Releasing is not the same as losing. And slowing down is not falling behind. You are allowed to soften, you are allowed to listen. You are allowed to let the moon show you what is ready and let the retrograde help you understand it with more compassion. Take gentle care of yourself, trust your timing, and remember, you are never too much, and you are always, always enough. Thank you.
