Healing Our Kindred Spirits
Welcome to Healing Our Kindred Spirits — created and hosted by Donna Gaudette. This soulful podcast weaves together storytelling, intuitive wisdom, and heart-centered reflections for those navigating life’s transitions, spiritual awakenings, and the deeper questions of being human.
Through authentic conversations and personal insights, I hold space for the sensitive, the seekers, and the resilient souls who are ready to feel seen, heard, and supported on their journey.
Each episode is an invitation to slow down, reflect, and reconnect — with yourself, with your spirit, and with the shared threads that bind us all. Whether you’re here to find comfort, connection, explore spirituality, or simply feel less alone, you are in the right place.
Be sure to look for journal prompts for each episode as well as an original guided meditation that further support you.
Because here, you are never too much — and you are always, ALWAYS enough.

Healing Our Kindred Spirits
Winter Solstice Guided Meditation for Rest and Renewal
The longest night can be a balm when we remember how to meet it. We invite you into a guided winter solstice meditation that treats darkness not as a threat, but as a cradle for rest, reflection, and quiet repair. With soft breathwork, careful body cues, and trauma-informed guidance, we move from tension to steadiness and let the earth’s stillness remind us we’re already held.
We start by settling the body—jaw unclenches, shoulders drop, breath lengthens—then step into a velvety winter scene where the ground feels strong beneath your feet. A gentle path appears with just enough light for one step at a time, an image that reframes uncertainty into companionship. Along that path, we release what we’re done carrying: old expectations, disappointments, and the story that we’re behind. At the heart of the journey is a small, steady fire that stands for your inner light. Sitting beside it, we witness moments of quiet courage and compassion you might have overlooked, restoring a sense of dignity and self-trust.
From there, we practice a ritual of letting go—offering self-doubt and guilt to the flame, watching them transform rather than burn. The body softens. Breath steadies. On the horizon, a faint glow appears, not sunrise but promise: the slow return of light. With a hand over the heart, we anchor affirmations—honor the season you’re in, trust the timing of your life, release what no longer serves, welcome rest without guilt, carry light even when you cannot yet see it. We close by returning to the room with gentle movement and a quiet knowing that not all growth is visible; much of it happens under the surface in seasons of rest.
If this practice offered you ease, share it with someone who could use a steady flame tonight. Subscribe for more guided meditations and reflective conversations, and leave a review to help other kindred spirits find their way here.
