Speaker 1:

This guided meditation is intended for relaxation and personal well-being. Please listen in a safe, comfortable environment where you can fully relax without distraction. Do not listen while driving, operating heavy machinery or engaging in any activity that requires your full attention. If you have any medical or psychological conditions that may be affected by deep relaxation, please consult a healthcare professional before participating. This meditation is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological or therapeutic care. By choosing to listen, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own well-being and participation. If, at any time, you feel discomfort, please stop the meditation and return to a state of awareness that feels safe for you. Thank you.

Speaker 1:

Begin by finding a comfortable position. You may sit or lie down, whatever feels right for you. Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze. Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth. Let's do that again Inhale, inhale deeply and exhale slowly. Now allow your breathing to settle into a natural rhythm. With each inhale, invite calm and spaciousness into your body. Invite calm and spaciousness into your body With each exhale. Release any tension or heaviness you may be carrying as we sit in stillness. Acknowledge the weight of the world, the pain, the suffering, the uncertainty. It is natural to feel overwhelmed. It is natural to feel the pull of emotions, but in this moment we are not here to be consumed by them. We are here to hold space for them with gentleness and empathy.

Speaker 1:

Now bring to mind someone who is struggling, someone close to you or a person you've never met, anyone affected by the challenges of our world. Picture them in your heart's eye, see their face, their posture, the emotions they may be carrying. Now, silently, repeat these phrases as you extend compassion to them. As you extend compassion to them, may you find peace in the midst of uncertainty. May you be held in love and support. May you feel strength, even in difficult times, with each breath. Imagine sending warmth and care to this person, as if your breath carries a soothing light surrounding them and comfort.

Speaker 1:

Now widen your circle of empathy. Extend this light to others, communities facing hardship, communities facing hardship, people suffering from conflict, from loss, even from fear. Let your compassion ripple outward, touching those you may never know, but those whose struggles you acknowledge Silently. Say to them may all beings feel supported and safe. May all beings be free from suffering. As you breathe in, imagine gathering strength and resilience from the collective goodness of the world. As you breathe out, share that strength with those in need, feel the connection between yourself and the vast shared human experience. And now gently bring your attention back to yourself. You too are worthy of this same kindness. Place a hand over your heart, if that feels right, and silently say May I find peace in the midst of uncertainty. Find peace in the midst of uncertainty. May I are ready, gently open your eyes and carry this sense of empathy and presence with you. The world needs your light and, even in small ways, your compassion to make a difference. I send you peace, I send you love, I send you joy. Namaste, namaste you.
